All camps will take place between Ice Family Basketball Center, Bramlage Coliseum, and the KSU Recreational Center. Where and When is Registration? Registration will take 1 hr. prior to camp start time. An email will be sent out with registration location and instructions. Where Do We Eat? Campers will eat at a dining facility on campus, as well as delivery from various restaurants around the Manhattan area. Please advise the camp director of any special dietary needs. What Do We Need to Bring? Basketball Shoes Water bottle Work-out clothing (plenty of changes of undergarments) Toiletries (shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant….) Towels and Bed linens are provided. You can bring your own personal items if you wish. Concession money and / or Camp Store money Taping Supplies (if you need to be taped for camp) Comfortable clothes for free time in dorms Where Do Parents Park? Guests do run the risk of getting tickets on campus. In athletics lots (by Ice Family Basketball Center), you will not be ticketed during our camps. If you plan to park anywhere else on campus, we advise you to acquire a daily parking pass for $5.00 from parking services. Parking services is located at the parking garage in front of the KSU Student Union. Their phone number is (785) 532-7275. How Do We Get from Location to Location? We utilize public school buses to transfer campers from the dorm locations to the athletic facilities. In addition, campers may walk from location to location. Please note that there will always be a staff member with the campers. Commuter campers are responsible for their own transportation at the conclusion of each day. Commuter campers will be notified via email drop of and pick-up locations. How Are Roommates Assigned? Roommates will be assigned by age and year in school. All roommate requests will be met with the utmost consideration. Who Stays with Campers in Dorms? Camp staff as well as current and former KSU players stay in the dorms with all campers. There is also KSU conference housing advisors that are located at the front desk of each dorm for further questions and concerns. Are There Camp Concessions? Camp concession will be located at gyms and at the dorms after each day after camp. It is advised for campers to place money in camp concession account. On the final day of camp, money that is left over in their camp concession account will be returned to campers. Please Note: Money that is not picked up on final camp day will NOT be mailed back. Concession items include: bottled water, bottled Gatorade, snacks and candy. Will There Be an Athletic Trainer On-Site? A certified athletic trainer is present throughout camp in case of illness or injury. The athletic trainer will also dispense prescribed medication as requested by parent or guardian. Please communicate prior to camp if there are any medical situations that need special attention. What Is the Camp Refund Policy? Refunds must be requested prior to the start of camp. Refunds will be considered on a case by case basis. |
